Hello,

I am will soon be graduating with a Game Development and Programming Degree. I have a lot of self taught skills in programming and started my game development work with working in Unity. My course work has exclusively used Unreal. In looking at various jobs, I do not feel like schooling has prepared me well for asking for a job when I graduate. I would like to know what skills would be useful to learn and master before looking for a job and once I start looking for a job.

Are there projects I should work on? Plugins I should be familiar with? Specific Version Control I should get used to? Etc., etc., etc.

I am looking to take some time after I graduate and start working on these Hard Skills to make myself more marketable as a Game Programmer.
