Actuator Models + Scriptable Creation
With the whole RenderWindow implementation behind me, I spent a little time getting the supplied artwork into the game. Here is a quick screen shot showing a scene with three of the actuators. Notice that there isn't any shading applied to the models, these are straight textures:
The scene is completely generated by a Lua script too - which is great in combination with the Lua console window for debugging or trying new things out.
In the next few days I will need decide on an illumination model/rendering style for the game. This will likely have a large impact on the minimum system spec for the game, so I'll need to keep the graphics programmer inside constrained [grin]
