Ok, I''ve been making music for a little while now, but this is the first time I''m actually directing it towards gaming or even hooking my keyboard up to the computer. I have questions. What is Midi? ( I know my keyboard has something about that on it.) What is Mod? Does anyone know of any software that can write music for you? (I''ve herd it exists) What can I use to get songs from my Keyboard on to the comp? ( this has something to do with a Midi Cable, but I still don''t know what Midi is ) Thanx -Sage13

Mod is an old, obsolete standard, but the newer formats (IT, XM, etc.) are still referred to as "Mods" collectively. A mod is basically a midi file that contains the samples used, instead of using the disgraceful midi samples on yer soundcard.
