do you have some links to www pages about
demo competitions or something?

http://home.freeuk.net/wazzaw/HVSC/ largest sid collection i know of
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Lakes/5147/ one of the best sid emulators (sidplay). pretty close sounding to me. alos supports hardware sid sound cards.

which brings me to http://www.hardsid.com which is a hardware sid sound card. prixes are reasonable. for about $179 for a quad sid chip supporting sound card that comes with 1 sid chip (and one free sid chip). you can use your own chips as well and i am sure they will allow you to purchase more chips from them to fill the quad sound card (fan is alos supplied on the sound card). no emulation there AND with sidplay its perfect reproductions of the original tunes (since sidplay supports hardSid).
