First order of business, I am developing a computer game, but since I am a programmer and artist, I know nothing about making sound. My first game involved me talking into the microphone, and I want to go a step beyond that. Does anyone know where I can get ahold of some fairly decent sounds for a computer game? Secondly, has anyone successfully used DirectMusic in a game before? I am hopeful that it may offer me the low budget (and I really mean low budget) remedy for my having-crappy-music-and-sound in my games... Thanks! Steve ---- I write computer games.
