Playing background tunes ?
I''m relatively inexperienced at DirectX development, but have recently completed working through Teej''s on-line Tetris-clone programming tutorial and I''ve now got a version of the game that works pretty well.
But it needs better graphics and some decent sound.
The graphics I can tackle myself, but I''m struggling to find some decent (read: for my current ability level) FAQs.
The current game loads a .wav file and uses "Play" to play a one-off sound when a level is completed.
I would like to have an authentic "annoying background tune" (Manic Miner anyone !?) looping in the background.
Could anyone tell me how to go about this - or even where to start ?
(I''m currently using DirectX 7.0a with VC++ 6.0)
