Note to self: If you don't work to maintain a steady rate of progress, you can actually stand to lose some of the progress that you've already made.

Go figure.

I have come across problems many times where I write a function, and then break for the day before I have a chance to use the function in a problem.

Then, when I come back to my machine I inevitably re-write that function. I do it a lot at work, and even end up re-writing utility forms. [crying]
