New Textures And Color Scheme For New Fateless Game

It's been over a week since the Steam release of Fateless. Considering the positive response (this guy enjoyed it) I decided to start working on a new game along similar lines. It will be tentatively called Fateless 2 and will be a premium game. It will be a major challenge to create an experience that is over an hour long (the existing game only takes about 10-15 minutes to beat), and that is varied enough, but I feel up to it now. I started mocking up the first level and found the perfect sky for it. Since the sky is so radically pink and blue, I had to adjust the ambient light on the level so buildings look like they reflect it. I like the way it's coming along. Perhaps this new darker vibe will allow for cool dynamic lights to shine through. The engine does not support spotlights yet, but I feel it might be the perfect time to program that in. Maybe place a rotating one on top of one of those creepy buildings?
