Hello and welcome to this weeks dev diary, the short version of what has been going on in the last two weeks.

  • Searched for and applied to courses for establishing a business.
  • Researched further how to scale up passive income earnings economically, by renting out hard-drive space (for disclosure, thus far I have been renting out 6 terabytes, earning around 30 - 40 USD a month).
  • Made comparisons between Julia and Scala code bases - thus far it seems that Julia, being almost as easy to learn as Python, but as performant as C -language, when used correctly. Julia seems like the best option for a beginner, out of these four languages mentioned here - if your only concern is to learn a language that is efficient in both development and execution.

I will give some further information on the HDD space rentals as the plan develops, as I'm sure that scaling up the average of 30-40 USD a month gets interesting to many, if it can earn you 900 - 3000 USD a month at some point. Thank you for tuning in and I'll see you on the next one!
