Moving on

Now that I have finished the renderer article, I feel like a bit of a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I'm not sure why, but that write-up took much longer than it should have (partially due to school work and house work) and I am glad to have it behind me now.

What's Next?

Since I released the mini-article, I have been organizing my thoughts on a new project that I am tentatively titling Feedback. The game is going to be partially a game and partially a physics simulation. Of course more details will follow, but I have been glued to my laptop writing up my design document. It has been a long time since I have been this interested in a project, so I have a good feeling about being able to finish the project. Once I get the design document finished up, I am going to try to put together a rough schedule to see if I can make the project a little more official. More to come!

GPU GEMS 3

I also just picked up a copy of GPU Gems 3. So far I am fairly impressed - the articles look interesting and the full color scheme that has been used throughout the series is great. Now I have to choose between working on my design doc and reading GPU Gems 3!

It's always good to get a project out the door - no matter how fun or interesting it was, there is a certain relief when you finally draw a line under it!

Sounds like an interesting physics project. I get the impression there are still lots of things to explore in this domain.

Review of GPU Gems 3 once you're done. Thanks [grin]
