Interestingly, I wasn't in too big of a hurry to buy Win2K, as I've got the 120-day MSDN version installed on my machine. I figured I had four months to upgrade. Looks like I won't have to wait that long.
Anyway, they're picking another 3,000 winners on 2/4, so get your ass over there and sign up!
Am I the only one who finds Microsoft's new "hide the stuff you don't use much" scheme to be gigantically annoying?! While popping up my IE bookmarks today, I got a little cartoon-balloon saying that a few bookmarks that I hadn't visited in a while had been conveniently hidden for me. Thanks, Microsoft, but if I don't want to see a bookmark anymore, I'll delete it myself. You don't have to hide it from me like my hunchback evil twin brother, Anton.
Office 2000 does that too. The first thing I did after installing Office was to turn that feature off.
I mean, the animated paper clip is sometimes annoying, but at least it does something!
