The Segmented Dragons

The segmented dragons were relics from the wasteland.
They pose a threat to nearby areas because they spread,
destroy avionics and instrument, and explode in bad
weather.

To neutralize the dragons, the flight crew flies next
to their segments and exchange charges. When the charges
are balanced throughout a dragon, it will dissipate when
hit by a specific sound wave.

Difficulties:

o Every time a dragon turns around, it resets its charges
by repelling the foreign charges

o Touching a dragon or its charges paralyzes the bird or
the rider

o The dragon gains speed if shot by sound wave while it is
not balanced.

Specifics:

o The flight crew goes in a team of nine

o When a rider exchanges charges, a fixed signature unique
to the rider is left on a segment

o The flight crew has no way to identify which segment
has been interfered other than that heat signature

o One of the rider designated as the conductor to synchronize
the sonic burst

I am a bird bath in a garden.
Sometimes a bird comes.

Biohazards of the Waters

When the ice started to melt, debris of the old world were
pushed around with the glacier. While the upper most layer
of the ice was clean, the deeper it was the more dirty it
was.

The bottom layer was toxic and contaminated by bacteria.
The bacteria and virus would spread and contaminate the
waters nearby. The Albatross was to pick the areas to
protect. The other area would remain untreated, perhaps
for another decades.

The personnel of the Albatross was spread thin over several
sites even after the first round of supplies sent through
the Bogota gate. The Bogota gate was damaged in the storm.
Many in the flight crew were injured and the flock of birds
suffered causalities.

With many birds and riders disabled, the Albatross was forced
to deploy its other crew members. Under a clear night sky on
an open field, Worcester got a call from the moon.

Cristta: "Are you free to talk?"

Worcester: "Yea."

Cristta: "The Logistics is coming to do assessment this weekend."

Worcester: "Good to know."

Cristta: "Will you be free to return to the Albatross?"

Worcester: "Probably not. Too much to fix, no battery to spare."

Cristta: "The Logistics need your ideas."

Worcester: "I don't know anything."

Cristta: "I am also bring you some curry packs. You could heat them up
in the sun and when you are out in the fields. They taste really good.
I just got too many. "

Worcester: "Shnn, so stupid."

Cristta: "So come back by noon this Sunday, okay?"

Worcester: "Ok."

* * *

A red tint was reflecting in the moon in the distant yards.

He flipped down his eyepiece.

Magnetic racing turbine eh?

Too bad red isn't my color...

Where is everybody?

Worcester returned to Albatross with the red turbine. The Albatross,
the Blaahval, and Copernicus Logistics decided on a plan to unearth
the seed library in Norway.

Due to public disapproval for the mission performance. Captain
Crouton were to relinquish the fleet command to Captain Ballena.

Crouton would lead a team to Norway. The weather condition of the
North did not permit extended air support. Crouton's team would go
to Norway by land to locate the sunken library. Crouton needed a
team.

Romaina was injured and still recovering.

Le Mon volunteered for the team.

Worcester would also go, but not at the moment.

Pippali was staying at the medical center.

Parmesa was staying.

Olivia would stay, she would be doing errands on the Albatross.

Allisa got the special license as a civilian rider, she became
part of the flight crew, riding Atiel.

Crista was staying on the Albatross as the new logistics operator.

Falcon 1 was in repair.

Falcon 2 was destroyed in the Bogota storm. Its parts were being
used to build a land vehicle. Once it was complete Worcester would catch up to the Captain.
The Seeking Comet

The Comet is the prototype built to locate the lost archive in Norway.
The white armor of destroyed Falcon 2 was used to build its shellf.
The shell material inherited protective property from its treatment in
the Bogota storm. When lightning strikes the shell, a golden pattern
marked by the Bogota storm is visible. The pattern dissipates and directs
a small fraction of the energy to a racing turine that charges its battery.

The Comet also carries some sensors of Falcon 1, which is being converted
to replace Falcon 2's role as the support craft. Falcon 4 is promoted to
be the advance command post for the flight crew. Falcon 3 is still with
the logistics.

To communicate with the search crew, the Comet uses a long wave signal
transmitted through the ground. The Comet can track the locations of
its crew members by listening to the ground, when other transmission
methods are blocked.

In full moon the Comet can power its small EGG to send packages back
to the Albatross.

The Comet skates when it can.
Holy moly, I gotta read this more in depth!

Nice work so far from what I can see!

Romaina was with Falcon One before she met the Albatross and Atiel.

The land was white. There were two long, partly covered scratches across
the land. The lines led to the debris of a crashed shuttle pod. It crashed
a week ago when it attempted to land on Earth.

Falcon One found the pod when the clouds were clear. Romaina landed to
investigate. Falcon One was sent because the shuttle was armed, hostile,
and was transporting a nuclear reactor.

From the outside, it seemed that the passengers of the pod survived the crash
and had reinforced the wreckage to protect themselves from the weather.

Part of the reinforcement was torn, waving in the wind.

Falcon One detected a weak heat signature inside the wreckage.

Someone was alive.

. . .

Romaina was at the sick bay dreaming about the last moments at the Bogota gate.
Many in the wing were already struck. Romaina was among the last flight crew
members remained to divert the lightning. Atiel was down. Romaina was on top
of Falcon One.

Falcon Two was circling around Falcon One. In the dream, they were talking to
each other. Falcon Two told Romaina something before all three of them were
struck.

The next thing Romaina remembered, Falcon One had crashed. Romaina was thrown
through a building. She could see the gate and the rest of the flight crew
still circling above the gate, but the intensity of the storm had been reduced.

In front of her was her feather. Her fractures kept her from reaching it.

The Albatross was calling her but she could not respond. The ice kit activated
and freezed her.

She saw Falcon One outside a broken window. She saw herself walking towards her.
It was the day when Falcon One landed to investigate the crashed pod, but she
was seeing it from the perspective of the one in the wreckage.

It was very cold. She was disoriented. Half of her face was covered. She could
only hear from the left. She kept her face up in order to keep the balance.
The sky was too bright, but she could not close her eye.

She heard her own voice. The Romaina in uniform told her to turn around, but
she couldn't tell which was the back. The world was spining.
this game looks really nice i cant wait to one day play it i hope
Seeking the Dome

Crouton, Le Mon, and Worcester are on the Comet. The Comet is a small vehicle,
build from some of the remains of Falcon 2, which was a medical vessel. The
interior of the Comet had instruments cabinets, and bunk beds in the style of
an ambulance. Small spherical windows on the side let Worcester see the stars.

During the day, the Comet skates towards the next location. In the afternoon,
the crew decides on a location, and plant a repeater in the ground. At dusk,
they unload an instrument that looks like a giant stethoscope track their own
position and to listen for the sunken dome.

The Comet carries very limited supply. There is only enough supply for the crew
to look for the dome for two months.
